When I was a young girl, I was always inventing little games. Organising small get-togethers for the neighbourhood kids. And somewhere along the way, I realised I would keep doing just that my whole life.

My thirst for travelling, discovering new [local] places and spontaneous gatherings - often involves serious food cravings. My love for cooking shows in a large collection of cookbooks and online recipe collections and notebooks. I love taking care of my close friends and family. Sharing the goodness and comfort of something as simple as a home cooked meal.

I call Amsterdam my home town since I was 19. However I grew up in a small town in the north of the Netherlands, which is still an amazing opportunity to escape the buzz of the city today.

For sure I owe my drive to create from both my parents, entrepreneurs and creatives at heart. Family is important to me. There’s such power in a true home-feeling, it’s the place that makes me stay grounded.
